bless my birth

Better to sit at the waters' birth, than a sea of waves to win; To live in the love that floweth forth, Than the love that cometh in. Be thy heart a well of love, my child, Flowing, and free, and sure; For a cistern of love, though undefiled, keeps not the spirit pure.

It’s official, there’s a ballerina in our house!

Avelina Ballerina loves her ballet class! Here are some pics of her ready to go on her first day.

With her beloved Wilbur, of course!

Aveline looks like the Perfect Ballerina! Tell her that I think that Jesus put an extra heart in all ballerinas: That’s what makes us such great dancers!!

so precious. reminds me of my first day of ballet class in first grade. i was so excited to go, but when i went to change in the bathroom into the leotard i had been caressing and gazing upon all day in my backpack, i dropped it in the toilet. my grandma made me wear my jeans. it’s was traumatically disappointing. i’m sure aveline’s on a better streak already.

Oh Roxie! That sounds disappointing. Now Aveline likes to wear a really fancy performance tutu to her classes, it’s hot pink with silver sequins and white trim. I can only imagine how she would feel if it were to have dropped it in the toilet on her first day!! Salina, Aveline loves what you wrote!
