Ave picked out the buttons, she felt that anchors were perfect for Pippi’s apron since Pippi is a seasoned seagirl aboard her father’s ship the Hoptoad. I concur.
For Miss June, who will go as Ponyo:

Awwwwwwwww!, cutest little Ponyo next to the real thing. I was waiting for ages, too, for the UK release….and the website I got my Blu-Ray off were good enough to send out 3 days early…so a nice surprise it was on my doorstep. I watched it yesterday. I was no less enchanted….and I’m a 38 year old bloke!!! The magic of Miyazaki-San just seems to find the kid in all of us. Great to see he is already thinking up a new movie….and no talk of retirement like we usually get after a Miyazaki movie. I think he knows now exactly how much the world needs him.
