. . . today, very soon now, in our motorhome. Main destination, Denver, for the CBA Convention to introduce Sid’s new t-shirt line. Plenty of spontaneous, unexpected, unimaginable subdestinations along the way. YAY!
I have a new friend, may I introduce you? The other evening he came on an evening stroll with me and my family. He helped me to remember what I love about those strolls, he’ll sort of become a portion of my jail-heart, I suppose. More on him later. Here, allow me to share the moments he helped me to preserve.

I introduce you to my new friend, Mr. Canon PowerShot G10. I think it’s love ;)

Be still my shuttering G10
There we are, together, in the motorhome, looking forward to the beauty and many memories we’ll capture out in the world on the trip we embark on today.
Please pray for our safety, as I’m going to be doing some of the driving!
Amalie is our Danish friend. She is a great person, has amazing personal style and can handle a whole day out with my kids, among many other things. We had such a nice day with her at the Mission.

You should have seen *her* skills with the bow and arrow!

Time has told, a camera was the best gift we could have given Jonny for Christmas. The following three pictures were taken by him (he may need his own blog soon!)

The Koi ponds have been declared my kids' favorite part of the Mission SJC

I *love* learning what he thinks is photo-worthy and seeing how he goes about capturing it
We love viewing interesting bugs!

Here’s a black bee he shot, on a pretty zow (that “flower” for those of you who don’t speak Junese)
And here are a couple Jonny let me take with his camera:

It just so happened that there was preparation going on for a party that night, so we had an all female, Grammy Award-winning, Mariachi band’s rehearsal setting the ambiance for our wanderings. What a delight that was! What a wonderful day. And we didn’t even have to speak our delight, the mood rings we purchased in the gift shop at the Mission said what our hearts couldn’t find the words to express . . . Ha ha!! Why does my mood ring always say that I’m “anxious” and “relaxed”??? No kidding, every single time I put that thing on it turns part yellow (anxious) and part purple (relaxed). Weird!
